Bike Auction for Youthline
08 Mar 2010
Simpson Grierson has arranged the donation of two high-performance bikes to Youthline, which the organisation has put up for auction on the TradeMe website.
The bikes were donated by a senior barrister from the United Kingdom who was working in NZ on a high-profile case with Simpson Grierson partner Graeme Christie. The barrister asked Mr Christie's litigation team to donate the bikes to a worthy cause, and they selected Youthline.
The auction closes Friday morning, so there is still time to make a bid for the City Trekking or Kona's Paddy Wagon bikes. You can view the auctions online at:
Youthline is Simpson Grierson's key corporate social responsibility initiative. Earlier this year, the firm presented a cheque for $25,000 towards Youthline's SMS text messaging service and has more fundraising activities planned for 2010.
