Gerald is a senior associate in the firm's commercial litigation group. He has experience in all forms of alternative dispute resolution and regularly advises clients involved in complex negotiations, mediations, and judicial settlement conferences. He has appeared as counsel in the New Zealand Courts at all levels, as well as in the District Court and High Court in London.

Gerald has been in practice since 2001. He joined the firm in 2008 after four years in England, where he worked at Zurich Insurance plc and at a leading English law firm. Prior to that, while working at another large New Zealand law firm, he was seconded to the Crown entity PHARMAC, as the in-house counsel.
