Financial Markets Conduct Bill before the Select Committee

The Financial Markets Conduct Bill passed its first reading in March 2012 and is currently before the Commerce Select Committee.

Simpson Grierson has been advising clients on the implications of the Bill, and presenting submissions to the Select Committee on their behalf. We are also making our own submissions. Partner Michael Pollard appeared before Select Committee on 7 July on behalf of the New Zealand Private Equity & Venture Capital Association. Partner Don Holborow will appear before the Committee on 14 June 2012 to present Simpson Grierson's submissions.
