Gwendoline is a senior associate in the firm's commercial group. She maintains a particular focus on venue, sport, and event management. She also specialises in the laws surrounding the sale and marketing of goods and services in New Zealand (including sales promotion schemes and gambling).
Gwendoline's work in these specialty areas includes advising a mixture of local and multinational companies, local government, and not-for-profit entities.
Gwendoline has been a board member of the Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RNZSPCA) since 2006. She is an expert in animal welfare law and has been a warranted animal welfare inspector for several years.

- Matariki Forests Group - contract drafting, advising on forestry right and leasing issues, and dealing with disputes
- Overseas Investment Office consents for the global restructuring of a land-holding company
- Reform of New Zealand's animal welfare law and policy, provision of strategic animal welfare advice, and speaking engagements to industry conferences and stakeholders
