Joanna is a senior associate in the firm's commercial group.
Joanna uses her skills and experience as tools in focussing on achieving client-driven outcomes. She enjoys getting to know the business and needs of her clients. She builds her understanding of what matters to the client into her advice. She has particular experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, advising on industry specific regimes and on competition law.
Joanna also helps companies with all aspects of corporate governance, from Companies Act compliance to board policies and regulatory compliance programmes. She has extensive experience in the capital markets area, having advised on public and private capital raisings and associated securities and listing rule compliance issues.
Westpac's Wellington legal team has welcomed Joanna on secondment several times, giving her valuable exposure to the practical needs of business.
