Judith is a senior associate in the firm's local government and environment group. She advises local authorities and other public entities on issues including decision-making processes, development contributions, roads, the Building Act, resource management, bylaws, and the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act. Her expertise also includes the Electricity Act, statutory interpretation, submissions on Parliamentary Bills, and liability issues.
Secondments have given Judith in-depth experience with clients' business. These include Kapiti Coast District Council, Transpower, and since late 2005, a three days a week secondment with the legal services unit at Christchurch City Council.
