Neil, formerly a partner, is now a consultant in Simpson Grierson's commercial group. He advises on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, securities, commercial contracts, distribution and supply arrangements, competition law, business structures, corporate governance issues, corporate and business compliance, and superannuation.
Neil's advice has been sought in relation to both pension schemes and defined contribution schemes by trustees and employers. International airlines have sought Neil's counsel on many aspects of aviation law, including the establishment (and termination) of on-line operations to and from New Zealand. He has significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He advises multinational companies on securities compliance in relation to the implementation of international ESPPs and ESOPs in New Zealand. His broad experience is a consequence of having been a commercial partner for many years.
