20 April 2009: The recently released Environment Law Guide 2009, published by Australian Legal Business (ALB) magazine, ranks Simpson Grierson as a 'leading firm' and singles out an impressive number of its environmental lawyers as among the best in Australasia.

The ALB Guide: Environmental Law offers a detailed insight into what is happening in this practice area in New Zealand and Australia, and the leading firms and lawyers operating within it. Through a combination of market research (directly with client companies, peers and barristers), the ALB Deals Centre and third-party market information, the Guide offers a list of leading firms, recommended firms and leading lawyers practising throughout Australasia.

In addition to Simpson Grierson being named one of only three 'leading firms', chairman Rob Fisher, is also named a 'leading lawyer', with the Guide describing him as "one of the most experienced" at environment aspects of project work.
