Simpson Grierson is once again delighted to be co-sponsoring the launch of the New Zealand Herald's annual 'Mood of the Boardroom' report, which this year, will be an 'Election Special'.
CEO's from New Zealand's top 200 companies have been surveyed by the New Zealand Herald, along with a number of prominent chairman, including Simpson Grierson's Rob Fisher, to deliver a report that offers business insight from some of the country's most powerful commercial decision-makers.
The highly anticipated report will be launched at a special business breakfast on Thursday October 30 at Auckland's Stamford Plaza Hotel, which coincides with the publication date of the Herald's 'Mood of the Boardroom 2008 Election Special'.
The recent events impacting global financial markets and the world-wide tightening of liquidity coupled with a pivotal election for New Zealand, makes the insights from this year's survey more critical than ever, as the business community looks to key policy makers for an indication of how these factors will be managed in the New Zealand economy.
Finance Minister Michael Cullen and National finance spokesman Bill English will be attending the breakfast launch to give their perspectives on the results of the CEO survey, debate the best measures to effect the economic transformation of New Zealand, and answer questions.
