Greg joined Simpson Grierson as the HR Director in September 2005 having spent three years at another national law firm as the National People and Development Manager.  Prior to this worked as an HR consultant with several well-known consulting firms, most notably PwC, Sheffield and SHL, where he specialised in leadership, organisational and culture development, and career management.  He began his career in the Air Force leaving after nearly 10 years as the Director of Air Force Psychology.  Greg is a registered psychologist with an MSc(Hons) in Organisational Psychology.  

As HR Director,  Greg has overall responsibility for:

• Providing best practice Human Resource strategies, processes and systems to ensure the success of the firm as a leading provider of legal services
• Design, development and implementation of best practice HR initiatives which support the strategic and operational objectives of the firm as a high performing organisation
• Leading and managing a team of human resource and training and development staff
