Amanda is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Group of Simpson Grierson's Commercial Department.  She specialises in corporate advisory work, with experience on a wide range of corporate finance, business structuring, venture capital and private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general company/commercial transactions.

Amanda has advised on merger, acquisition and disposal projects in diverse business areas, including the telecommunications, fisheries, financial services, railways and electricity industries. She has particular experience in venture capital/private equity work, including advising management, the acquisition vehicle and debt providers on management buy-outs and buy-ins.  She is a member of Simpson Grierson's Private Capital Group.

More recently, Amanda has undertaken a professional support and development role.  She is responsible for the training, legal products and know-how needs of the firm's Commercial Department lawyers.

Amanda also holds a Master of Arts (Arts Administration) and has an interest in art law.
