Sarah is a Senior Associate in Simpson Grierson's Commercial Litigation Department.  She has experience in all facets of commercial dispute resolution including negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings.

Sarah is an expert in commercial lease disputes, regularly acting for, and providing daily advice to, commercial landlords - including New Zealand's leading shopping centre owner.  On occasion, she advises commercial tenants.  Sarah has recently provided advice and training to clients on the new Property Law Act 2007.

Sarah has expertise in insolvency matters, predominantly advising creditors – including successfully assisting creditors in relation to voidable transactions (now "insolvent transactions").  She has also provided training to clients in this area.  Recently Sarah provided advice to a significant creditor regarding New Zealand's first voluntary administration - Icon Digital Entertainment Ltd (owner of Sounds music stores, selected Blockbuster and Games Plus stores). 

Sarah has experience in a range of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes and negligence claims.

• Otanemutu Maori Lands Trust – claim in contract and negligence, concerning damage to an orchard by the use of Roundup
