Bronwyn Carruthers is a Senior Associate in Simpson Grierson's Local Government and Environment Group.  Since 2000, Bronwyn has specialised in advising territorial local authorities on resource management issues. Clients include Rodney District Council, North Shore City Council, Auckland City Council, Papakura District Council and Franklin District Council.

She advises clients on a range of resource management issues and regularly appears before the Environment Court in relation to resource consent applications and district plan provisions.  She has also appeared in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court in judicial review proceedings.  She also provides advice on designations, plan changes and variations, and general resource management issues.

Bronwyn also has a BSc in Environmental Sciences.
