Craig was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in 2000 after having completed a BCom, LLB at Auckland University. 

Craig practises in the area of general corporate and commercial law including advising overseas investors and New Zealand companies on the acquisition and sale of properties, assets and shares in a variety of industries including forestry, manufacturing, distribution, hospitality and tourism, and wood processing.

Craig's work for forestry clients has led to a developing practice in Climate Change work.

He has considerable experience in due diligence and the acquisition and divestment of business assets and shares, and has developed an expertise in project managing such processes.  Craig has also written articles on overseas investment for national newspapers and law journals.

Craig also provides general commercial advice to a diverse client base from large multinational companies to small one person companies on such issues as business structures, commercial contracts and insolvency.  Craig has a special interest in advising medium sized businesses on the milestone legal issues they face during their lifecycle.
