Jo is a Senior Associate in the Resources & Infrastructure Department in Wellington.  Her primary area of practice involves advising on resource management and environmental matters for local authorities and government departments.  Jo has appeared before local authorities and the Environment Court as well as the High Court and the Court of Appeal in relation to resource management matters.

Jo acts for a number of clients including the Minister of Corrections, South Taranaki District Council, Masterton District Council and the Ministry for the Environment.

• Acting for the Minister of Corrections in relation to the establishment of new regional prisons, including involvement in litigation to the Court of Appeal
• Reviewing the Ministry for the Environment's designation guide
• Involvement in subdivision and land use consents for residential development of former defence land at Seatoun
• Assisting with environmental advice, including dispute resolution and policy matters for a number of local authorities including South Taranaki District Council, Masterton District Council, Masterton District Council and Hutt City Council
