John is a very experienced commercial property practitioner. He acts for various crown and local authority entities as well as many corporate clients including AXA New Zealand, AMP NZ Office Trust and BP Oil New Zealand Limited.
John acts in respect of matters relating to all areas of the leasing and development of commercial property premises for Crown organisations such as Statistics New Zealand, the Department of Labour, the Ministry of Research Science and Technology and the Ministry of Defence. John also acts in the leasing, sales and purchases of commercial properties for corporate clients. His expertise also includes subdivisional issues, Overseas Investment issues, tenancy enforcement and associated property matters.
He has been involved in many major projects for his clients including the development and leasing of "new build" premises and refurbishment projects and the management and supervision of significant sales and purchases of commercial properties, due diligence projects and joint venture property projects. John also acts for a number of overseas clients providing advice and assistance with their investments in the New Zealand rural and forestry sectors.
John has been a member of various property related interest groups during his years in practice.
