Peter has over 25 years legal experience specialising in property and commercial issues.  His knowledge in this area has seen him act for many of New Zealand and Australia's largest commercial property owners advising on business transactions, acquisitions and sales, business structures, joint ventures, leases, trusts, franchises, companies and partnerships.

Recently Peter has acted on several large acquisitions involving development and overseas investment into New Zealand. This involved advising on the various business structures available for holding and dealing with property and business.

• Acted for a large multinational firm in the acquisition of several properties in Auckland
• Acted for a major land owner and retail outlet in acquiring and disposing of large land holdings in South Auckland
• Acted for a major Chinese client in establishing business structures to facilitate acquisitions of property in North and South Auckland
• Acted in respect of franchising matters for a large company in its franchise expansion to Australia (4 States), Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines
• Acted to establish trust and business structures for new music recording and merchandising business in South Auckland
• Acted to establish trust and other business structures for a number of primary health providers in the health sector
• Acted to establish Community Facilities trusts for a number of local bodies
• Acted (successfully) as counsel in respect of Maori land matters, occupation issues and Rahui in the High court against Maori Incorporation
