Pro Bono
We recognise some people and groups within the community face difficulties accessing legal advice. Our pro bono programme, led by pro bono partner, Greg Towers, seeks to assist people in the community to gain access to legal advice and justice.
We recognise the value of pro bono work to staff, the firm and the community. We provide pro bono clients the same quality of service that we provide every client.
Our solicitors perform a large amount of pro bono work for many organisations throughout the country, including:
- Auckland Division of the Cancer Society
- Auckland ICT Cluster
- Child Cancer Foundation
- Committee for Auckland
- Ed & Co Charitable Trust
- Kiwi Expat Association (KEA)
- Look Good Feel Better
- Multiple Sclerosis Society of Auckland & North Shore
- New Zealand Coastguard
- New Zealand Minerals Industry Association
- New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association Incorporated
- Orakei primary School
- Pink Pilates Trust
- Preventing Violence in the Home
- Refugee Family Reunification Trust
- Waste Resources Trust
- Youthline
In addition, we have staff and partners involved in providing legal advice on a pro bono basis to the Wellington Community Law Center, Grey Lynn / Ponsonby Citizens Advice Bureau and the Glen Innes Citizens Advice Bureau.
