Phillipa Muir wins Best Lawyer - workplace relations, employment & safety

Phillipa Muir has won the Best Lawyer Award in the workplace relations, employment and safety category at the Euromoney Australasia Women in Business Law Awards 2012.

The winners were announced at a function at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel on 16 August 2012. Keynote speakers at the ceremony included Honourable Justice Julie Ward from the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and Catherine Fox, deputy editor of AFR Boss magazine, along with representatives from the Law Council of Australia, the Law Society of New South Wales and the IPBA.

The Awards celebrate gender diversity, innovation, mentoring and talent management in law firms. They reward those who set the standard in female-friendly work practices and women leading the field in the legal sector. The Awards have been held in other regions for many years before coming to Australasia for the first time in 2012.
