On 2 May 2006, Consumer Affairs Minister Judith Tizard released a discussion paper on the redress and enforcement provisions of consumer protection law in New Zealand. The review considers overseas enforcement tools and how these might be adopted in New Zealand. Submissions on the discussion paper are called for.
