Putting in place and carefully managing a suitable written agreement is critical for any IT system implementation project which involves an external supplier. It is important, from both the customer's and the supplier's perspective, to ensure that the responsibilities of each of the parties in relation to the implementation of an IT system are clearly scoped and documented.
