Brianna is a senior associate in the firm's local government and environment group. She specialises in local government and environmental law, advising local authority clients on resource consents, designations, public works, bylaws, reserves, district plan interpretation and environmental enforcement. She has appeared before the Environment Court, District Court and High Court on resource consent appeals and prosecutions, and in judicial review and declaration proceedings.
She has over 10 years' experience, primarily acting for local authority clients in the Auckland and Canterbury regions. She has also been in-house counsel for Auckland City Council.

- Redevelopment of the historic Masonic Tavern - junior counsel in successful application for resource consent in the Environment Court, including interlocutory proceedings and opposing a recusal application to the High Court
- Waitakere City Council - successful application for enforcement orders and costs against a clean-fill operator
- Wallace Corporation - junior counsel in successful appeal in High Court against conviction and sentence in an environmental prosecution and a related declaration on summary offences under the Resource Management Act
- Auckland City Council - counsel for the Council as applicant for designations for roads, reserves and other public infrastructure in the Wynyard Quarter
- Auckland City Council - acting for the Council as respondent on a number of resource consent appeals in the Environment Court for residential, apartment, and civic developments in the Isthmus and Hauraki Gulf Islands
