Lillian is a senior associate in the firm's local government and environment group. She advises corporate clients and councils on a range of resource management issues. Lillian has regularly appeared before councils and the Environment Court on environmental, consenting, and district and regional plan matters. Lillian has experience handling strategic cases requiring management of a significant number of witnesses.

- Christchurch City Council - representing the Council on a significant Variation dealing with retail distributional effects across Christchurch
- Christchurch International Airport - advising and representing on a wide range of matters in both the regional and district context over several years. This has included strategic matters such as the development and implementation of air noise contours, bird strike and zoning issues, as well as regional plan issues including natural resources regional plan variations and stormwater discharge matters
- Southern Alps Air - a series of hearings before the Environment Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal concerning an application to the Queenstown Lakes District Council for resource consent for a jet boat operation
