Liz is a senior associate in the security enforcement group. She specialises in commercial litigation, and acts for financial institutions, banks, liquidators, and corporates.

Liz regularly appears before the New Zealand courts at all levels on breach of contract, fraud, security enforcement, insolvency, and other finance-related matters.

  • UDC Finance - counsel in UDC Finance v Down (Court of Appeal) on the liability of a guarantor alleging undue influence
  • Westpac New Zealand and ASB - appearing in High Court proceedings on mortgagors' liability, and on the rights and duties of mortgagees at mortgagee sales (for example ASB v Urguhart)
