Raphael Winick is a senior associate in the firm's commercial group. He has broad experience with issues related to intellectual property, information and communications technology, media, and the commercialisation and development of new technologies.
Raphael worked in the United States prior to joining Simpson Grierson, developing his expertise at a preeminent intellectual property firm, Fross Zelnick Lerhman & Zissu, and as in-house counsel for ESPN and The Walt Disney Company. He helped litigate several landmark court cases that established current US law regarding the Internet. Raphael served as a senior in-house attorney for over 10 years, where he focused on finding practical, efficient, and business-focused solutions to challenging legal issues, particularly in connection with innovative products and emerging technologies.
