Stuart is a senior associate in the transactional banking and finance group in Auckland. He has experience in a broad range of domestic and international banking and finance transactions. He has particular expertise in property and development financing, asset financing and leasing, and corporate and commercial banking.
Stuart previously spent several years in the structured and asset finance team at "magic circle" law firm Allen & Overy LLP in London.

- BOS International Australia - development funding for the Kawarau Falls Station Development in Queenstown ($200 million+ development)
- Westpac - loan facilities to TeamTalk to fund its group requirements
- Bank of New Zealand and Rabobank - syndicated and bilateral facilities of $195 million to companies in the fruit industry to fund general corporate purposes, seasonal requirements, and acquisitions
- Bank of New Zealand - $100 million of facilities to Methven to manage its international group financing requirements, including acquisitions
- Commonwealth Bank of Australia - structured leasing transactions in respect of $90 million of heavy equipment, trucks, and compactors
- Air New Zealand - Canadian export credit agency funding to purchase two aircraft
- ASB Bank - funding for the purchase of a private jet
- Barclays Bank - purchase of a majority interest in Iveco, and the provision of €3.5 billion to the Iveco Group in multiple jurisdictions
- Lonmin - purchase of a share in South African mining interests, and its subsequent sale to a black empowerment vehicle partly financed by Lonmin
- GE Commercial Aviation Services - restructuring of GE's ownership and leasing arrangements with respect to its aircraft fleet in multiple jurisdictions
