Genevieve Cox
Genevieve is a senior associate in the construction team.
She has experience of construction and large infrastructure projects having worked for over six years at UK's leading construction law firm, Masons, during which time she advised on a number of PFI/PPP schemes including projects relating to sea defence, waste water treatment, schools and accommodation.
She also spent time in-house in the UK as legal counsel for FLAG Telecom working on the financing and development of submarine fibre optic cable networks. Upon her return to New Zealand, Genevieve undertook in-house legal roles at NIWA and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and she also undertook a project management role at Auckland Transport overseeing Public Works Act processes. From her time in these roles Genevieve is familiar with regulatory and governance issues relevant to government agencies and CCOs and she also has experience of intellectual property law particularly in relation to data access and software licensing as well as some experience of IT projects.
