Louise Taylor

Louise is a senior associate in the firm's commercial group, specialising in all aspects of technology law.

She has over 15 years' experience in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom, advising on a wide range of general commercial and technology-related projects and contracts for a mix of customers and suppliers. These include small to large-scale service supply and outsourcing contracts; mobile app and website development contracts; software and system development contracts; hosting, support and maintenance contracts; SaaS agreements; software licences; technology supply and integration contracts; and agency, reseller and distribution arrangements.

Louise also advises on technology-related and online compliance issues, including those relating to e‑commerce and consumer law, and assists clients with website terms, privacy, and cookie policies.

In addition to her private practice experience, Louise also worked in-house at the BBC in London for four years, both for Radio Networks and New Media & Technology.

Louise has a particular interest in new and emerging technologies, and has written and spoken widely in the UK on wearable technology, the internet of things, BYOD, crowdfunding, fashion tech, and other technology trends.
