Simpson Grierson's Auckland office is looking for a litigation solicitor with 4+ years' PQE to join our Financial Services Litigation team. 
  
This role involves working with 2 partners and offers fantastic quality work with plenty of variety, working for leading banks, insolvency practitioners and corporates, both domestic and off-shore, and the opportunity to work collaboratively with other teams in the firm.  There is plenty of work on offer - handling insolvency, banking and corporate disputes.

In this role you’ll have mentoring and support from an inclusive, collaborative team of true specialists. You'll have the opportunity to manage juniors, work autonomously on files, gain court time and build solid relationships with clients.
  
You’ll bring fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal, and will have an analytical, thorough approach to your work with excellent attention to detail.  Previous restructuring and insolvency experience would be ideal, however if you have strong commercial litigation experience, and a particular interest in developing expertise in banking & finance litigation, this could be a  great opportunity to learn from leaders in the field.

There is some flexibility around this role so we would like to hear from lawyers of various levels and are open to discussing how to make this role work for you.  We could also look at a fixed term role if that suited.
