In 2025 our firm is proud to celebrate 20 years of supporting Youthline as our main community partner.

Youthline is a charity that provides support for young people, particularly those struggling with mental health, with a 24/7 counselling service, as well as mentoring and community programmes.

Every year our people work on a wide range of pro bono matters for Youthline. We also provide funding to Youthline to support its Helpline, and at a time when funding budgets are being cut, we are pleased to have increased our financial support in recent years.

Shae Ronald, Youthline CEO | Tumu Rangatira says of the partnership: “We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from Simpson Grierson over the last 20 years. It’s a pleasure to have such an enduring partnership that has evolved with us over the years. From helping fund our Helpline to providing pro bono legal support, they have stood by us and responded to our needs as we’ve grown. We look forward to continuing to work together to support young people when they need us most.”

Shan Wilson, Simpson Grierson Pro bono Partner says: “Our 20-year partnership is a significant milestone for the firm. We hugely appreciate the opportunity to assist Youthline with our legal skills and through the wider support we provide. We all recognise the importance of their work with young people. We know that if we have their back when they need help, then we free them up more to provide the frontline support they are so good at giving to young people in need.”
