Two of New Zealand's most recognised deals of the year had one thing in common: Simpson Grierson.

Simpson Grierson has advised on two transactions recognised at the 2026 INFINZ Awards, New Zealand’s leading awards for mergers and acquisitions, debt transactions and capital markets activity.

The firm advised clients on the following award-winning deals:

• Adamantem Capital - investment in the merger of PF Olsen and Forest360, which won BDO - Mid-Market M&A Transaction of the Year. The transaction brings together two leading forestry businesses to form a major trans Tasman forestry management platform.
• Bank of New Zealand - funding the refinance of Totara Learning Solutions, which won Tax Management NZ - Mid-Market Debt Transaction of the Year, supporting continued growth in the education technology sector.

In addition, Simpson Grierson advised on a number of other transactions recognised as finalists across the awards, reflecting the firm’s continued involvement in complex M&A and financing activity across New Zealand.
