We are proud to be named Employer of Choice (large law firms) at the 2023 NZ Law Awards, for the second year running.

Judges' comments included: "A comprehensive and wide range of programs; Impressive D&I policy, pro bono programme and authentic treatment of pro bono hours; Really solid and building on their impressive foundation with initiatives that evolve with the times; All relevant criteria addressed cohesively."

The recognition didn’t stop there: our transactional teams also won:

• Debt Market Deal of the Year with the financing of Igneo’s acquisition of Waste Management NZ; and
• M&A Deal of the Year for the transaction relating to the Crown taking 100% control of Kiwibank with the purchase of NZ Super Fund, Accident Compensation Corporation and NZ Post stakes.
