Health and Safety at Work Act

With the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA), the landscape for health and safety (H&S) has changed. We want to help you understand the basics to comply with the Act, and go beyond this to develop good practices, and change the culture and underlying behaviours of your organisation.

We are now taking registrations for workshops in Tauranga (13 September) and Dunedin (5 October). The workshops will be led by Terry Johnson, Director Health and Safety Advisory Services.

The workshop is aimed at H&S professionals, and those with H&S responsibilities, including company directors, executives, senior operations managers and HR professionals.

The workshop will give participants the knowledge and skills they need to keep their organisations safe through:

  • having robust systems and processes in place
  • creating a safety-focused culture
  • using H&S engagement and participation to improve H&S communication
  • knowing what motivates the right (and wrong) behaviours in your people and how leadership affects this.

Registrations are limited.
