The Opportunity

This role offers a chance to work in a top tier law firm and become part of the AML/CFT team based in our Auckland office. You’ll gain experience in a law firm environment, working with both internal and external clients.
  
As an AML Onboarding Analyst, you will play a key role in helping the firm meet its AML/CFT obligations by supporting client onboarding and ongoing customer due diligence activities. Working closely with the Compliance Officer and AML/CFT team, you will liaise with clients to obtain and verify customer due diligence information, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and client records are accurate and up to date.
  
There is an opportunity to learn all of the AML/CFT functions within our team and to be able to make a real contribution to supporting the partners and authors across the firm.
  
Core skills we are seeking

  • 2+ years' AML/CFT experience, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Confidence with technology and systems
  • A high level of accuracy and great attention to detail
  • Being proactive, able to work to deadlines, and having good initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with a computerised practice management system
  • A drive to help others and the confidence to work with people at all levels
  • Able to make sound decisions and not afraid to ask questions when needed
