We have a great opportunity for a litigation solicitor to join our team in Wellington.
  
The team in Wellington works across public and commercial disputes – specialising in complex, high-stakes and often unusual matters.  It is led by two energetic and supportive Partners who have broad experience in New Zealand and internationally.  That gives the team a wide and interesting breadth of work where, it acts across a range of different types of issues – contractual disputes, tort claims, public law, judicial review and regulatory issues, climate change and environmental litigation, constitutional issues and law reform. The team operates across High Court and appellant advocacy, mediation, arbitration, risk management and strategic advice. 
  
The Wellington team forms part of our Litigation National Practice Group, and works closely with other parts of the firm.  In this role, you'll be working for a firm that takes a modern, commercial and collaborative approach to dispute resolution and sticky situations.
  
We are looking for a New Zealand-qualified solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE, strong academic results, and experience gained in a large commercial firm, public sector legal team, or specialist litigation practice.  You’ll be someone who enjoys complex legal issues, is commercially minded, and thrives in a collaborative environment.  You’ll be part of a group that values teamwork, strategic thinking, and energy – and which provides considerable support alongside opportunities to develop.  We’re a team (and a firm) that lives its values – putting people first, being at our best, and being energetic for change.
