Lucy specialises in commercial real estate, infrastructure, and local government law with a focus on large-scale due diligence, acquisitions, disposals and commercial leasing.

Her clients include both listed and unlisted companies, local authorities and individuals.

Lucy acts on some of NZ’s largest infrastructure projects for local authorities and CCOs, and advises commercial clients on the property aspects of significant mergers, acquisitions and disposals (including rural and residential land, and aged care facilities). 

Lucy enjoys working closely with her clients to understand their business needs, provide strategic and well-reasoned advice, while ensuring the efficient delivery of complex real estate projects. 

Lucy joined Simpson Grierson in 2016 after spending over four years at the London office of a large global law firm, and in-house real estate at a global energy company in Auckland.

Sale and leaseback of its property interests in 38 aged care facilities to Centuria Capital Group for $291 million in 2022. Ongoing acquisition, disposal, subdivision and leasing advice relating to Heritage’s portfolio of aged care and retirement village facilities.
